It's easy to participate
in Lehigh's Distance Education program. If you are already on the web,
a few plug-ins are all you need. Please review the list below to see if
you have what you need.
Please note that this is a minimum list. If
your configuration does not meet these requirements, we cannot guarantee
that the streaming media will work correctly on your computer.

Please note these instructions to find your hardware
settings are based on a system running Windows XP. There may be slight
navigational differences to get to the appropriate menu if you are running
Windows 95/98/ME/2000.

* PowerPoint Viewer: It is for users who don’t
have Microsoft PowerPoint; It allows you to view PowerPoint presentations
over the Internet.
** Word Viewer: It is for users who
don’t have Word. It is a freeware product that allows you
to view and print Word documents. |

For either synchronous (live) streaming or asynchronous (on-demand) streaming participation, you must have a high-speed Internet connection, such as a corporate T1 line, a cable modem, or a DSL connection.
